The Arizona Commission on the Arts plays a critical role in ensuring access to the arts for all Arizonans, funding programs across the state benefitting diverse populations such as students, underserved communities, people with disabilities, older adults, veterans, Tribal Nations, and rural cities and towns.
In 2022, the Arizona Commission on the Arts is up for reauthorization, a legislative process which occurs for all state agencies and commissions every ten years. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In order to show expansive statewide support for the commission, we are asking the arts community to sign on to a coalition letter. This letter will be shared with members of the Arizona Legislature and the Governor’s Office urging them to support the reauthorization and the commission’s funding request for $5 million in ongoing funding.
Please sign the coalition letter and share this information with your friends and colleagues so they can join the coalition as well.
